Richmond Parents Monthly Wins Top Awards

Parenting Publications of America (PPA) recently gave Richmond Parents Monthly eight awards, including four first-place honors.
    PPA is a national trade association of more than 120 local parenting publications. Its annual contest recognizes excellence in writing and design.
    For the 2008 contest, PPA received 1,020 entries. Awards were announced Feb. 28, 2009 at the PPA conference in New Orleans.

Front Cover, Original Illustration: Ryan Hooley, illustrator; Denine D’Angelo, art director. “A nice cover that uses a play on words to partner with the drawing. The artist used warm colors for the family scene, and the designer integrated the nameplate into the atmosphere.” (PPA, 2007)
